I’m eternally grateful to live in one of the most naturally beautiful places in the world, where there is infinite inspiration for artwork. I’m drawn to the way light transforms the world, especially those early morning and late evening hours when ordinary scenes take on a quiet intensity.
In those moments, I find that light has a way of revealing something deeper. Something difficult to name but easy to feel. Over the years, painting has become a way for me to attempt to hold onto that feeling. To slow it down, to study it, and maybe give it some form of permanence.
