I’m eternally grateful to live in one of the most naturally beautiful places in the world, where there is infinite inspiration for artwork. I’m drawn to the way light transforms the world, especially during early morning and late evening hours.
In those moments, I find that light has a way of revealing something difficult to name but easy to feel. Over the years, painting has become a way for me to attempt to hold onto that feeling. To slow it down, to truly experience it, and maybe give it some form of permanence.
